Greenbrier Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with stunning landscaping and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for families. The facilities, including private and spotless bathrooms, are highly praised, and the friendly staff provide excellent service. While there are minor drawbacks, such as proximity to the road for some sites, the campground's amenities and activities, including a swimming hole and a convenient trolley to Gatlinburg, make it a highly recommended destination for campers.

Amazing campground, really beautiful landscaping, peaceful and lots of mature trees. Easy water access for tubing and the dogs to walk in the water. And we love that an ice cream truck comes through with pup cups and ice cream treats. Have been camping here over 10 years and it is better every year.

I highly recommend this campground. We stayed at Greenbrier Campground from Apr 20-24. The campground is in a great location - about 5-6 mi from downtown Gatlinburg. The bathhouse was probably the BEST I have ever seen at a campground. They were private and spotless. A big plus! The folks handling reservations and the camp store were nice and helpful. There is not a pool, but there are a lot of things for the kids - a giant jump pad, basketball, and a ga-ga ball pit.
Our full-hookup site (#5) backed up to a creek, directly across from the playground and bathhouse. The site was roomy. My only downside - the sewer hookup for the site next to us (#6) was a bit close to our picnic table, but if we situated our table properly it was not a huge problem. Also - there are a number of sites "up front" that are close to the road, so if this is an issue for you be sure to confirm your site location. Again - HIGHLY RECCOMEND this campground. We will be back!

We just got back from our first ever RV trip and staying at Greenbrier Campground completely set the bar sky high.
We stayed in a creekside site in April and it honestly could not have been more perfect. Waking up to that view was such a highlight. We could see the creek right from our chairs inside the camper and we spent so much time sitting outside at the picnic table and in our outdoor chairs just watching it. It was beautiful and so peaceful.
From the start, everything was so easy. Check in was smooth and the staff even helped guide us in with directions, which made a huge difference as first timers. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, especially Sue, who we absolutely loved.
The campground itself is incredibly well kept. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, and you could tell the grounds are constantly being maintained. Even small things stood out, like how clean everything felt and how well people picked up after their pets.
There is so much to do, especially for families. Our boys loved the two playgrounds, the big bounce house, the basketball court, game room, and all the little extras like toy trucks and games. The swimming hole was such a fun bonus and while we did not rent them, golf carts are available which makes getting around easy and fun. That said, it still did not feel chaotic or overrun. It struck a really nice balance.
We also appreciated the general store for grabbing a few things we forgot and having full hookups and reliable wifi at our site made everything feel comfortable and convenient.
One of the coolest perks was the trolley that comes right through the campground. It will take you into Gatlinburg and bring you back, which made exploring so easy without worrying about parking.
One of our favorite parts was the Sunday church service. It was such a special experience.
Honestly, we loved it so much we joked that we could live there. It is going to be hard for any future campground to compete because this experience was just that good, especially for our first trip.
The only small downside for us was that smoke from a nearby campsite fire was blowing right into our camper at times. Of course that’s just part of camping and not something the campground can really control.
If you are on the fence, book it. We will absolutely be back.

The BEST campground!! Stunning location between two forks of the Little Pigeon River. A short distance to the Greenbriar entrance to the Great Smokys NP and Gatlinburg.
The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well kept. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. There's no pool but a little beach and swimming hole in the pristine river. Very family friendly. The bathrooms/shower-rooms are better than any campground we've seen or heard about. Tiled "full service" private rooms that are spotless.
Will definitely be back and hopefully get to stay longer next time!

This campground is so nice and beautiful and the staff are so nice.and friendly! We had a.pronlem.with our camper when we arrived and the ladies were so nice and helpful to find us some maintence shops nearby to help fix all our problems. I will definitely be back and may try to go back and rent one of the cabins. The place was beautiful. And you can trout fish here. I was real happy with the generosity of the people helping us as I was so stressed out from all of our issues we were having. Also word of advice dont try to avoid interstate and take back mountain roads. Take the Interstate always and drive safe. Mountain roads cause too many issues. Pulling camper use rest stops, dont try to pull into small gas stations! Many lessons have been learned to say the least. Thanks again Greenbrier Campground for being so helpful!!! Love your staff and campground and cabins!!!
