We stayed in the Green Ash. The treehouse was very cool. The craftmanship was amazing. The bathroom had a couple of issues with cleanliness and items that need fixing. The living area and bedroom were comfortable. It is a treehouse so space is compact which was to be expected. But the most disappointing item was service/customer service. The guest app does not provide a phone# or method to contact property management. I called the phone# on the confirmation email several times with no answer due to our electricity going out. I left messages and received no call back. We went to the welcome center and no one was in the office. It's a shame such a beautiful place has such poor service that compromises the experience.

This location was a great little vacation spot for a weekend trip! I KNOW it's a tree house, but just keep in mind that in stronger winds, the surrounding trees can and do knock against the balconies and/or sides of the house. When you're not ready for that and the house shimmies a little and you hear loud knocks, it surprises you! But once you hear it a couple of times, it's easy to ignore. It had exactly what we needed, and we'd definitely stay here again!

"Treehouse" is a loose term, but this place is great! It was a family getaway at Thanksgiving time, and a great escape to refresh from life. Remember, book as far in advance as possible as there aren't too many 'treehouses' and they definitely book up quickly. You drive way back in to arrive at the Grove - they are on a hillside in the woods. The setting is fantastic, peaceful, and beautiful. A river runs through, which is not huge, but it's fast moving and creates a soothing sound to relax your soul.
Are these really 'treehouses'? Well, we'll leave that up to you to decide. Each one does have a tree growing through the deck, but they are not literally built in a tree. But who cares - they are really cozy and fun.
We rented a two bedroom, which was one bedroom with a loft. The kids, of course, loved the loft and had a great time there. Fire pits with firewood available were great for the cool nights. Different 'houses' have different amenities, so check before booking.

My husband and I had the best time ever here! The views, the amenities, and the proximity to all the other tourist attractions and cities were excellent. We visited treehouse grove for our 10 year anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it. We stayed in the dogwood treehouse which was the highest up and had the best view. The cabin is so well crafted and unique. We had 24 steps to go up to the cabin so brace yourself for the walk. Everything is pretty well lit but the ride to the tree houses is so dark and scary not to mention super steep! We enjoyed everything although we never did see the hot tubs, I wish every treehouse had a private tub, that would be the icing on the cupcake. The one downside to this place…. And it’s a huge downside…. There were no blinds in the living room area!!!! Why aren’t there any blinds. You feel so exposed and vulnerable!! I did not like that and it is almost a deal breaker because I like my privacy and you almost feel like they robbed you of an extra room inside of an already small cabin. The bathroom sink water was also cloudy but that could be due to well water or sediments in the water? The shower seemed clear and the shower head was so great although the shower itself was tight and I’m 5 feet even. Again, They need to add blinds to every window in the cabin or add the option. You are also exposed in the bathroom as well, they must do better to protect people’s privacy. Also, the loft up top would have been great but there’s no tv!!! Add another tv to the loft or at least in the small living area. We don’t always watch tv in the bedroom, makes it feel like you need to go to bed rather than enjoy the cabin. Make sure you bring a robe because the bathroom is literally in the living room where you are completely open to everything!! The fire pit was nice but bring your own wood, it’s a small half kitchen with a toaster oven we used a lot. It is tight but it’s a treehouse! It was the most unique and stunning place I’ve stayed. I didn’t want leave actually. We did bring bear spray Just in case. We loved it so much overall but please just add blinds to all windows and it would be a solid 10!

We were very disappointed in the value we received for the money we spend with this group. We stayed in the Willow cabin in the Treehouse Grove. When we walked in the door we immediately immediately we had made a huge mistake.
Room 1 living area.
There was no stove only a microwave that was very small. The refrigerator was no more than a dorm-room size one with no ice making ability. The room was 10 x10 with a "kitchen" and a leather love seat so not very accommodating for more than 2 people. If you waned to eat in the room, you had to assemble a table and bring in metal stools from outside to sit on. That was the living space. Very unappealing and there was absolutely zero privacy in that room. No curtains or no shades you could see everyone in the other cabins and everyone could see into your cabin. We made a huge mistake of bringing food into the cabin. We woke up to ants all in our breakfast so we threw everything away.
Room 2.
The bathroom was very tiny with only room for one person and the shower took up half of that. I would say it was no more than 5x5. .
Rooms 3 and 4
There were two bedrooms both had queen size beds with a mattress supported by a bunker board. We felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The bedroom was about 8x9 at max. The wall side of the bed had a clearance of maybe 12 inch's. Very difficult to get in and out of. The upstairs loft bed you had to climb a ladder and no way could a normal height person stay up there. I had to retrieve a bed cover to put on the main bed and at 6'5", I was literally on my knees
The concept was cool but thats where it ends. This group fell way short of our past experiences in other areas and for 600$ for 3 nights it was a one and done for us. Renters beware make sure you know what you are renting.
