Loudest music I’d ever heard in a public campground and dogs left alone at the site next door wanted off leash and attacked those of passerby’s. What is the world is wrong with people? USFS staff were receptive and understanding, and working hard to keep the place up and running. Be sure to thank them.

Beautiful campground, very secluded. Lots of privacy between sites. Nice to have electric service in such a remote location. Good trail along the creek to a waterfall. Camp host not there first few days so bath house and sites were unkept when I arrived but then host in site 2 arrived and got things in order quickly.

Great location. Even when all sites are filled, the campground is fairly quiet, and most sites are quite private. Bathrooms could be updated but they are adequate and generally clean.

Great wooded area burn pit plenty of trees and room
Nice swimming hole. Kinda cold but very nice
We came in a 30’ class A now in Sept.
Roads good and spacey
Negative was for some no internet. And no water hook up on your sites. You need to travel and find shared water Spicket.
And if you pick spot C28. Its not to easy to back in due to large tree right in front where you need to cut your wheel

The actual camping experience was fine, the departure was not. The dump station was not working, although they were trying to repair it, so I had to haul my gray and black water to a TVA facility in a different town and pay $20 to dump there. Not a huge expense but an unexpected one. It seems that our National Park Facilities are in a gradual state of decline, probably due to budget cuts.
