A well maintained campground will ample sized parking for many sizes of rv’s. We chose our site using the online rec.gov Website so we were limited in what we could see online and get a good idea of the park layout. The map scale is sometimes skewed.in the future, I would Not pick site 57 as the firepit is poorly placed between the wooden fence and the picnic table. This made it very difficult to enjoy to its fullest.

Great fishing and kayaking. Must visit Lost Pond. It is a nice ride and visit to an Amish and Mennonite community.

Hosts were especially helpful when needing to make adjustments to check-in requirements and reservation changes.
A very close (5 mi) dining location is the Rose Garden Restaurant, one interchange further East on I-40. Their menu is varied with daily "blue plate specials" and great pie choices for desert.

The park was very clean and well taken care of. Gatekeeper was very, very helpful! I needed a tire problem looked at and he recommended a good friend's tire shop and explained how to get there. He also told me the best was to travel to my next destination!

The grounds, camp site that we had (we camped in a 28 ft motorhome) and the one bath house that I visited were excellent. The camp host, his name was Ken, was very friendly, personable and helpful with answers to my questions.
