Campground was nice. Not a fan of the tiny pea gravel. Kept bringing it in on our shoes.It hurts when you step on it barefoot in the camper. The campsites are roomy, and we plan on visiting again.

The staff are absolutely fantastic. They were always friendly and great support for any questions you might have about the area. Clean campsites and amazing wildlife. When you can sit in nature and watch bald eagles is always a treat!

The staff was the very best ! They were so helpful and friendly ! It was a quiet stay as there were not a lot of kids ( not that I wanted ) lol as I had my grandson but Melissa made it so much better ! Melissa went the extra mile ! The host even helped me back up !! You can’t ask for more than that lol it was Memorial Day and most of the families left to get home and back to work !

We have stayed at Long Branch for many years. Due to the last minute planning, we stayed in the loop this time. I loved it. Other than an afternoon septic smell a couple of times, it was perfect. Honestly, it seemed like we were at our own private campground. Can't wait to come back. Also, the new campground attendants were a pleasant surprise!! They were very kind. It was nice to meet them and we look forward to seeing them again this summer.

I was booked in for a simple overnight, but after checking in I found out that friends had also checked information a couple days...so I had the host help me negotiate a move and extension to spend time camping with my friends. It was perfect!

Getting There
From I-40, take exit 268 and merge onto US-96 west. Continue for 5 mi to the end of Center Hill Dam, then turn right on SR-141. Follow signs into campground.
Highway access
Access to Long Branch is available from I-40 via exit 268, merging onto US-96 west for approximately 5 miles before turning onto SR-141.
Policies & Rules
General
- Only licensed vehicles are permitted. Each campsite is provided for two pre-paid vehicle entry. Additional vehicles, or visitors to campers are charged $3 fee per vehicle.
- Only two tents allowed per site. Tents must be placed on campsite pads. Only one wheeled camping unit allowed to each site.
- Campers are prohibited from leaving their boat trailers in the day use parking area. All equipment must be kept on site.
- Firewood Alert: When picnicking at this recreation area, purchase your firewood from a vendor who sells certified heat-treated firewood. Don't bring firewood from home. To help prevent the spread of the Emerald ash borer and other forest pests, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is prohibiting firewood that is non certified heat-treated firewood. - Payments will be limited to credit card transactions only.
- We need your help to maintain our campsites. Please dispose of all trash and litter along with extinguishing any fire and dispose of ashes in the fire ring upon departure. If sites are left trashed, you may be cited by Title 36 Code of Federal Regulation 327.9 Sanitation part (d). “Campers, picknickers, and all other persons using a water resources development project shall keep their sites free of trash and litter during the period of occupancy and shall remove all personal equipment and clean their sites upon departure”.
