What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs is a beautiful and clean campground with friendly hosts and great lake views, making it a favorite for many campers. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to Nashville add to its appeal. The campground offers a variety of amenities, though improvements to bathhouse access and site leveling are suggested by some visitors.

Been going there since I was 22 years old. Now that I'm almost 67 it is to me the best camping site in the world. I TRY TO GO 4 TO 8 TIMES A YEAR. It is so beautiful and peaceful you feel a part of nature yourself. Great fishing and friendly attendances and of course conveniences need by, but also privacies.

I love this quiet, well-maintained campground on the southern shore of J Percy Priest Lake. This site is near shallower water, which cuts down on boat and jet ski traffic. I like to go mid-week when it is less busy. Clean restrooms and showers.
