What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs is a beautiful and clean campground with friendly hosts and great lake views, making it a favorite for many campers. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to Nashville add to its appeal. The campground offers a variety of amenities, though improvements to bathhouse access and site leveling are suggested by some visitors.

We booked one of the tent-only sites and it was such a sloped plot of land that it really wasn't workable for any sized tent. Also, there was a party at the community pavilion with a DJ! The music and noise went on into the night. Not exactly the camping experience we were looking for.

Lakeside camping at its best. Clean bathhouses, large sites with good spacing. I can’t believe they only open Five months a year. May-September season cuts out some of the best camping in the spring and fall.

The campgrounds are absolutely gorgeous! The lady working the entrance hut could be a little kinder. Overall great experience will definitely be returning!

My biggest complaint is the LONG line at the exit at check out time. People not even needing to use the dump station could not get out because campers pulling up to the dump station had the exit blocked. There needs to be another exit or extra lane.

Still one of our favorite campgrounds. However each year we notice less and less is being done to adequately maintain the facility.

Beautiful, clean park with attentive hosts, very large private sites and plenty of water activities to fill the day. Will definitely return!

Great campground with the exception of the location of the bathhouse. If you are camping on the water on the lower loop and need bathrooms, it is a hike up a hill.
