What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs is a beautiful and clean campground with friendly hosts and great lake views, making it a favorite for many campers. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to Nashville add to its appeal. The campground offers a variety of amenities, though improvements to bathhouse access and site leveling are suggested by some visitors.

The location of the campground was convenient for travel into Nashville which was our purpose of the trip.
The campground is picturesque. Our campsite #07 was a pull through site which was on the top of a fairly steep hill. The picture nor description indicated the elevation that one would encounter when parking the camper. Our friends in #09 had to back up a steep hill to park their camper.

It specifically notes that check in times are highly enforced to allow cleanup prior to arrival. Our site had trash and wasn't clean at all.

What a great camp! Lots of space between sites, on beautiful lake, very quiet and secluded. My only advice is to get a site on the outer loop or you’ll have a hard time seeing the lake. I definitely stay here again!

This park is beautiful. The people at the office, the hosts, everybody were wonderful to us. We arrived after having a big accident 8 miles before the park. We were really stressed, we had to have our RV moved there by a towing service and then picked up by other towing service to the place where it was declared total lost. We were really lost that day. The host was checking on us almost all day, making sure we were able to find the help we needed, giving contact information to get help. It was an amazing human experience. We want to come back to really enjoy the park, and the lake, and the relaxing environment. Even during that difficult time we sat by the lake and just the look of the peaceful water gave us comfort.

This campground has a beautiful lake and is quiet. There are 3 bathroom/shower houses. We saw a doe at the showerhouse. Clean flush toilets and hot showers. Excellent AT&T service - 5 bars. We stayed in site #46 which was a little unlevel but had a beautiful lake view. There were small animal prints on our cooler (possible skunk) one morning. We would recommend this campground!
