What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs is a beautiful and clean campground with friendly hosts and great lake views, making it a favorite for many campers. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to Nashville add to its appeal. The campground offers a variety of amenities, though improvements to bathhouse access and site leveling are suggested by some visitors.

Campsite was clean with good tree coverage. The area has easy lake access and is in a very good location for doing stuff around the Nashville area!

Friendly people and well kept camping area. Bathrooms are far from sites and require travel by car by most but are very well maintained and up dated compared to bathrooms in NY state! Nashville area has many things to do as well at Gatlinburg if you're up for the drive.

Staff are very rude. We’ve been camping here for years and have never been treated so rudely.

Site was roomy but not much of anything to do here unless you have a boat to take out on the lake. Most sites are not level what so ever. The bathrooms are very outdated as well. Staff was rushing us out on check out day. My father in law was having problems getting the pop up camper put back up at his site next to us and staff did not seem to care. We were told to hurry up multiple times by a staff member on a golf cart because someone else was checking into his site early. I tried explaining he has had heart surgery and was moving as fast as he could. I was helping him out as well. Instead of being concerned for him or even helping, staff merely stated that he should have packed up earlier and been out right at check out time. I understand that he should have been out at check out time but things do happen in life. Not impressed with staff at all. We will more than likely not be back.
