What Guests Are Saying
Poole Knobs is a beautiful and clean campground with friendly hosts and great lake views, making it a favorite for many campers. While some sites are uneven and require leveling, the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to Nashville add to its appeal. The campground offers a variety of amenities, though improvements to bathhouse access and site leveling are suggested by some visitors.

We stayed at site 62. The view was fantastic and the site was a great size and you can pull your boat up to your site.

Had an excellent vacation! Our campsite was right on the water and although there were snakes in the water, had a fantastic time. Visitor's came and went and we made friends with other campers!

Great vacation spot with water access. Campground relatively small and hilly while campsites are spacious and well thought out. We all had an amazing time.

They are adamant about a 3:00 pm check in so sites were ready. We got there at 3:00 and had to clean our site when we arrived. Very frustrating!

This campground was closed for yrs. We were thrilled to see it reopen. They have done a lot of work redoing the sites. New gravel, sites were pretty level, new wood and rain control. Campground was clean and in good working order. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at campsites 29 & 33. Tents had to be set up on gravel due to lack of cleared and level ground, but it worked ok. The views of the lake were nice. The bathroom is a significant hike up a steep hill from these campsites so we typically drove to bathhouse because we had small kids. Bathhouses and grounds were well-kept.
