Loved the park area. Plenty of green spaces between campsites. Will definitely be going back

Very nice campground, our space was pull through and had enough room for RV, truck and boat! Park was well shaded with trees and had a good boat ramp and parking area. Cellular service was good (AT&T).

We read many reviews that said the sites were very unlevel. We said, "how bad could it be?" Well, our original site was a very long site, but it was all downhill. There was less than 10 feet of flat at the bottom of the site by the concrete picnic table and fire ring.
Please read all reviews for the site you are selecting. Also, do not trust the pictures, they do not show the actual slope of some of these sites.
The area is beautiful and quiet. It's a great place to walk!

Great campground on the lake! Large sites. No sewer, but a dump station. 30 minutes to Nashville.

Stayed on site 41 with our 41’ 5th wheel. Pull through Site was extremely large however quite a dip coming in off the road. Swing it wide to miss ditch on drivers side. Some other sites would have been tougher to get into.

Great campground, beautiful views of Percy Priest lake. Is rustic but still just a few miles from conveniences.

Folks aren't kidding in the other reviews... the low hanging trees on the way in and some inside the campground are SUPER LOW. Beware if you're a taller rig. We definitely hit branches going in and out. We stayed in site 60 for almost a week and loved it as far as it being peaceful and the view and all that, but it was NOT level and was a pain to get into. Almost every single site in the park involves a steep up or downhill to get into. The tail of our RV hit when leaving our first spot (43). We checked in one day early and online said our site (60) was reserved -- turns out nobody was staying there so that was a little frustrating... I do NOT recommend checking in at night at all. Seriously, it's DARK and the road is very skinny and the sites are not easy to see to get into. Get there during daylight. Checking in was super easy. We got there after hours so the sign on the office said to go to our site and come check in in the morning. No issues there at all. The folks working the office were very friendly. I called ahead to make sure they had no gate because I had to be out early for work, but when we went out one night, we got back a little after 10 and the gate was closed and appeared locked. Thankfully, it was NOT locked and we just pulled the pin out and drove in and put the pin back. The mosquitos were horrible (I mean HORRIBLE) but it was a nice place with friendly people and it was close to food and shops (walmart was about 5 min away). The road leading in wasn't a great size for vehicles to pass (it was a bit too skinny) but it was doable. We are just glad nobody else was coming when we left because we had to drive on the opposite side multiple times to avoid extremely low branches hanging from the trees. All that to say.. we will be back :) can't beat the location as far as being less than an hour out of Nashville.
