So this a *Dry Park. No alcohol allowed at all. Zero! Everyone, on almost every site had beer cans and bottles of empty liquor in the recycle containers and their trash cans. No exaggeration. One of our cooler had visible champagne bottle inside the cooler through a lexan window, but the cooler was on the ground with other coolers on top of it. Very hard to see in unless your on your knees. We came in the night late from Indiana, and the ranger had brought us our check in docs while we were out on the lake the following day. The check in station was not open or attended when we tried to check in. At any rate; our site was searched, all our liquor poured out and a ticket issued, while we were on the lake. They left all the empty containers on our site, I guess as a lesson?
Otherwise we had a great trip at a nice park.

I enjoy the park, but have not been very happy with park attendants (rude demeanor).

The water was beautiful; the park was clean and well-run. Hosts we very personable. Although we had to switch sites to extend our stay, we were fortunate to spend five nights there. Loved being able to walk among all the boats at the marina and we enjoyed hiking in the surrounding area.

Staff is wonderful, but the grounds and facilities are outdated and needs work. Great location just needs attention.
