What Guests Are Saying
Anderson Road Campground offers spacious and private sites with beautiful waterfront access, making it a great spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The manager, Ash, is noted for his friendly and caring demeanor, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the restrooms are older and could use some updates, they are kept clean, and the campground is well-maintained overall, providing a pleasant camping experience.

The stay was great, the staff friendly. The only issue we had was leveling on such a steep hill. I would have picked a another location on the site map had there been any indication of the terrain on the website. With a 40 foot RV we struggled to get level and never really did, however we made the best of it.

We stayed in site 17 which was very spacious but a bit on an incline. We are tent campers and luckily found a couple of spots for our tents that were fairly level. Love that the sites are so far apart. Could not see our neighbors on either side of us. I do wish there was a water spigot nearby. There are only water spigots in sites 1 - 10 (out of 36 sites). So we drove to an empty site that had water and filled our hanging water carrier. The hosts are super nice and very helpful.

Always a great time when we stay here. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and campsites that are not on top of one another. We also observed a doe with 3 fawn, over 20 ducks and 3 ducklings, and several turkey hens with little ones (bonus points).

stayed at a tent site, rocky and not very level, but could deal with that, the problem was a large group within fifty yards partying loudly until after 1am, some of that group returned to their tents, drunk, still talking loudly....me and wife got no sleep, other than not sleeping, it was a scenic site, but there needs to be security, i wont go back.

NOT TENT FRIENDLY. We literally had to put our tent in a runoff ditch. And there was glass all over the site when we got there. If there was anywhere else open we'd have left.
