We called in somewhat of a pinch because our fresh water tank had emptied on our trip on accident. We called for a site with no notice and they took us right in. Full hookup for a very reasonable price. Nice and quiet, easy to access hookups. Peaceful place and very accommodating! Thank you, we will be back!

Stayed here a little over a month and had a good experience overall. We were in site 75, which is tucked away in the back and felt a lot more private than some of the other spots. One of the best parts was having the creek right behind us—it was nice to sit outside and listen to the water.

The neighbors kept to themselves, which we appreciated, and management was fine to work with. We really didn't have any issues during our stay and were mostly left alone to enjoy our site. If you're looking for a quieter spot, site 75 is worth considering.

We enjoyed our stay at Tana-See! The beautiful drives you can do from Newport along the French Broad River, the proximity to Smoky Mountain National Park, and the creature comforts right in town make this a great stop. We had plenty of room for our 44ft toyhauler and truck in the pull-through sites, and we spent 9 days at Tana-See. Gloria was very kind and accommodating when we needed to extend in order to wait for an RV part to arrive. The grounds are well-kept and there are ducks walking around all day which is fun to watch. The pool is closed which would've been nice in summer, but regardless, we would definitely come back.

Great location as it is right off of highway and with several gas stations right there, and yet quiet and peaceful with the creek running along the back edge of the campground. The clean and cool bathroom really stood out and was a pleasure to use and for shower, especially in the “real feel” of 111 degree temperatures we experienced on the day of arrival (July 2) Gloria was very responsive and really pleasant to talk to. The management also did a 4 of July picnic party on July 3, which we didn’t get to partake, but a nice activity for those who could for sure. Loved the pond at the end of the property to walk around. All in all, I’d give it a five.

First time staying at TanaSee Campground. It was wonderful. From the phone call to getting booked Gloria was fabulous. We stayed on the creek and after our long day of travel it was just what we needed. We liked it so much on our way home we stayed there again. I can’t compliment Gloria enough for her friendliness. The site was perfect for our 29’ travel trailer. Bathrooms were clean and our site was very well kept. I’d highly recommend for a relaxing few nights.
