The only negative comment I would have is the host in section C needs to bring it down a notch.

We camped at Bandy Creek first weekend of October and had a wonderful time. Weather was great for hike on Angel Falls trail short drive from campground. Campground is one of nicer ones I have camped at in the area. Sites were too close, and patches of trees between sites gave privacy. Shade from trees was nice as we had dogs with us. Grounds were nice mowed and clean. Bathroom were clean and well maintained. Wonderful to have hot showers. We did get firewood from camp store which was stocked well with essentials. Camp host and park security drove by several times which was nice and made us feel safe. Great experience and we would certainly be back.
Must note that we were driving a 30ft camper and came from Jamestown side. There was a bit steep section right before campground else it was nice drive. We had read about steep switchback coming from Oneida and I am glad we were aware and came the other way. We drove through the switchbacks to go to Angel Falls trailhead, and we have never made with our camper thru that section. So beware and make sure to come from Jamestown if you are in a camper, even a short one.

The Bandy Creek Campground in the Big South Fork River and Recreation Area is a great place to stay! The campground is well-kept/maintained and the site was easy to get into and setup our cargo trailer toy hauler/camper conversion.
I would stay there again in the future and would recommend to others.

Two night unplanned visit turned out to be excellent. First the cons: this is 12 miles to anywhere for major supplies. Also, there are bears in this campground. Now the Pros: Arrived early October on a Monday, and plenty of spots. Prices are good too. Check in was simple, and Staff very helpful. So quiet, with nice trails, bath houses, and visitor center. One recommendation, dont get spot next to trash bins if you are worried about bears. One visited my spot the last morning, and left thier large paw print on the side of my car, but didn't even wake me. Just follow the rules, and you wont have any issue. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful, secluded location, well designed camp grounds and well maintained, ample of showers and bathrooms in each spot. This was quite possibly my best camping experience thus far in Tennessee!
