This is one of our favorite places to camp. The trails are wonderful and it's rarely crowded.

The camp sites are level and clean and have a very convenient "bear box." There is ample space between each site; the bath house was clean, warm showers, hooks for hanging shower gear. Best of all: the stars were exquisite !!!!

Camping site was clean and convenient to bathhouse and to the visitors center.
One small issue: camp firewood - the contract vendor has firewood available and ice in self serve style at the horse stables, but there is not any kindling available for sale. Also the camp store was not open in early to mid May. So there was no fire starting materials easily available. Bring your own! There was a disconnect between the park staff and camp store contractor with lack of information and communication as to when the camp store would be open. The staff was public about the frustration due to lack of communication between the entities.

Very nice campground with a great host and workers. Clean restrooms. Food storage at each location. Pool wasn’t open at the time of my visit but facilities looked wonderful.

Sites are nice with picnic table and fire ring/grill. Showers were nice - hot water and great water pressure. Good base for exploring multiple areas of the park. We plan to return in the fall.

Not a bad site, just be aware that if there aren't any leaves on the trees then the site will be in full sunlight during the day. Can be a bit unpleasant if you didn't bring a tarp or anything.
