Big South Fork is the hidden gem of National Parks. It is as beautiful as The Smokies, but without all the tourists. I loved camping at Bandy Creek campground. The Rangers were helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The trails were beautiful! Definitely worth a return trip!

For the supposd scary driving, the campground is just average.
I will now try another part of the park (north, the mining area)
