Very nice campground. quiet, peaceful and tranquil. Lots of hiking opportunities as well as a pool. Nice camp store with great fire wood at a very affordable rate.

When I arrived at Bandy Creek I was amazed at how clean everything was. The campsites, the grounds, and especially the BATHROOMS! These are the cleanest, largest bathroom and shower houses I have seen in a very long time. It was quiet and the spots were large.

Very nice campground, thoughtfully designed with large sites and a fair amount of privacy. The restrooms are clean and modern.
The staff, from the volunteer camp hosts to the professional rangers were great. My husband took a fall out on the trail and needed help. The rangers were professional but friendly and several cared enough to ask about how he was doing the next day.
Finally this is the most dog friendly National Park I’ve ever visited. Charlie our golden retriever would give it two thumbs up—if he had thumbs. He made many friends among the rangers. I should add for the non dog people that all the canine campers I saw were well behaved and so were their humans.

Campsite was easy to maneuver, clean, and well-spaced from other sites. The picture of the site on the app was actually of the campsite next to us (21), however, I do not believe that changed our experience, just something to know. Showers and bathrooms were clean, water was hot, and the campgrounds overall are fantastic and fun to explore with miles of trails and gravel roads easily accessible from the grounds.

I love camping here! Every sight is fairly secluded and its such a big campground, there's plenty of room to spread out. The bath houses are always in pristine condition. I love how dark it gets as the lights are kept low at night. Perfect for star gazing.
