The campground, campsite, and bathhouses were great. I only wish there were more trees closer to the tent pad. I use them to tie up a dining fly but there were none available. The park staff and rangers were excellent too!!!

We camp a lot, maybe 20+ times per year. We’ve been to every park in the state at some point, and this may have been our best experience yet. Yes, the weather was perfect for early fall, so that always helps, but the facilities were great, park was clean with so much to do, and the staff was awesome. We’ve also stayed at Blue Heron and had similar experiences but this was tops!

This is one of the nicest places to visit. Beautiful camping and hiking. Mountain biking looks to be promising as well. Our visit was primarily for backpacking, but will be back with bikes. The workers at Bandy Creek campground and visitors center were the best.

Excellent campground with just the right amount of amenities, lots of trees most of the sites have good shade. Will definitely return in the summer to use the seasonal pool.

This was a great place to come for a few days. Great break away from fast pace, lots of hiking and the ability to go ride your horse or watch others do so. Camp grounds are clean as well as bathhouses. Don't expect great cell phone coverage in the campsite. Just experience the break !
