What Guests Are Saying
Blue Heron Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained facility, offering a peaceful natural setting with clean bathrooms and friendly hosts. The campground features spacious sites, excellent hiking opportunities, and a fascinating mining history nearby. While some campers noted noise from close neighbors and the need for better regulation enforcement, many enjoyed their stay and appreciated the overall cleanliness and amenities, making it a popular destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

Beautiful natural setting and mining history fascinating. However campground regulations are not enforced. Vehicles park on grass creating deep ruts with water sitting in them for days after rain. Number of vehicles per site exceeds policy, but not enforced.
Children speed around campground on e-bikes and e-scooters strafing pedestrians and going in wrong direction— a dangerous situation.

Campsites very close to each other. Even with different Neighbors we heard them coming (at 2:00am), leaving and just talking. Their campfire smoke blew straight into our camper van.
Shower okay but not many of them.

We enjoyed our stay. We were a little bit concerned when there was nobody to check us in but there was a Park Ranger that was going around and checking everything.
