Very nice campground, nice size lots. Campground is maintained nicely and has a nice creek on both sides. Campground management is rude and very unaccomodating. We had to push our stay by one week due to some unforseen camper repairs and were informed that we would not receive our first half deposit back (approx $200) despite the fact that we were simply moving dates by 1 week and not cancelling. When questioned about that policy the campground management became very rude and short. Customer service is non existent here. Nice campground, but likely wont come back.
Re: One issue is how I was spoken to when I questioned the policy. Staff was short and had a rude tone. Yes, it was explained when we rescheduled on the phone. I figured i would let it go until we got onsite where I could talk to someone face to face. I was able to do that breifly, but when I was called back the tone and attitude put forth was snarky and short.
I mainly have issue with the fact that the deposit was not applied to our rescheduled time frame, which we made at the same time. We were charged ANOTHER deposit simply for rescheduling. I can understand retaining my deposit if I had cancelled completely, however all I needed to do was reschedule by one week because our camper was not out of the repair shop in time for our original time frame. THAT is why I gave a 1 star review.

Our 2nd time here and we are full time RVers and been to lots of RV parks. This is the top best, beautiful, peaceful RV resort. The asphalt roads and RV sites make it gorgeous as well as the green grass. The decorative stone patio and wrought iron table and chairs we gave an A+. Our 2 labs loved strolling in the stream. I highly recommend this park and we will definitely come again.

Awesome place to camp very quiet but still close to all the main attractions of Pigeon Forge. Our family was in a bind because of another campground that we had booked and arrived to find no full hookup which we reserved, and they would not move us to a full hookup site that was available. Up The Creek, however allowed us to reserve a site for the same day even though it was after 7pm. The staff was very accommodating even though I made the mistake of setting up on the wrong site and had to move the next morning because the one I was on was already reserved, but that was my own fault for not reading my receipt entirely. These guys were very nice about it and we made the move and had a great time. It is not kid oriented but still a great place for the whole family, especially if you have older kids who like the outdoors. And you can even hop on the trolley to head into Pigeon Forge. I definitely recommend this place 100%

We enjoyed our stay with Up the Creek campground. Sites are big, near the creek. Newly black topped, although the middle sites were still rock. Very clean and well maintained. It’s close enough to town but away from hustle and bustle. It does not have a bath house or laundry facility or an open office/store. Nice size dog park but no poop bags so make sure you have them. The trolly also comes to pick up so you don’t have to drive and pay for parking.

Check in was at 1 and we got into town few hours early. They let us check in early since the site was available. Campground is very nice. I like that you get the shower to yourself and not have to share with other people. It was cold outside and it was nice and warm inside. Very convenient to town. Definitely will come visit again.
