Full Throttle Campground

This place is amazing..!!!!. We didn't camp there (but wish we had) stopped for refreshments while on the trails. The people are so friendly and kind and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
Special Kudos to Jacob, who went out of his way... Excellent Customer Service....!!!

5 star location! If I could give more I would. I'm a local (and have a small business in the area) and live in the area so I've never camped at the location but we absolutely LOVE going here for an afternoon drive and to grab a bite to eat. If we did need a place to camp I would 100 percent camp here.
-The facilities are CLEAN! from the kitchen, to the bathrooms to the camping area. Super clean and tidy
-The food is AMAZING! and the prices are great. We literally drive here just for a beautiful country drive and to grab some food.
-The outdoor seating area is nice and relaxing. Order some food and enjoy the beautiful outdoor area this is always kept up!
-The owners are really great and run a solid business. And as a small business owner I know the amount of work it takes to run a quality business and this owner is putting in the hard work.

The amenities here are some of the best we have seen for a campground that caters to the offroad community. The road coming in from the city is about a 30 minute drive and the road itself is an older TN mountain road. Easley doable for our 44' rig and 20' trailer. BUT, You just need to take it easy as its an old bumpy country road. HOWEVER!!!!! once you are here you will find it is definitely worth the low and slow drive in. The owner, his son and their staff make this place come alive with the hospitality they offer. The store they have is stocked with anything you could need and then some! The kitchen menu and the quality of food that Jacob produces are fantastic 👌. The restroom & showers are VERY nice and well kept. The cabins are really nice and the beds are made perfect (because "Nana" does it herself).
Dont hesitate to make this your next spot to stay while enjoying the Brimstone, North Cumberland, Royal Blue, Tackett creek, and more trail systems. 10 out of 10 for us!

Best campground we've stayed at so far. Fully stocked with snacks, drinks, ice and you can order food cooked right in front of you at the bar. Nice, clean bathrooms with AC. We've been to several that were so hot you couldn't use the facilities. We stayed in a full hookup RV site for 3 nights. Plenty of room and just the right amount of lighting to feel safe. This camp is right in the middle of Brimstone and Cumberland WMA. We road mostly on WMA. Pet friendly and our dogs really loved the creek beside our spot. The county road is rough in spots but our hosts have no control over that. Just plan for a narrow county road that really needs repaving.

The cleanest camp grounds we’ve ever stayed! It’s a little ways back, but very well worth it! The store has everything you could need parts, food, trail sodas, gas, etc. the nicest showers are just an added bonus. Will be staying here for all our brimstone trips. Even if it’s just a day trip will definitely stop by for a meal!

Back story of how we found this place a few weeks back it was 11pm and one of the rzrs was completely out of gas, just running on fumes. We stumbled across full throttle and the owner came and turned on the pump and allowed us to fill up to get back across the mountain.

You won’t beat the hospitality of the people running this place and that’s what turns us into repeat customers!
