Green Acres Campground

The Hosts at Green Acres RV Park were great. My site lost a tree during the ice storm, and Mike was able to move us to a new site with shade. He also provided a fire ring to burn wood. Thanks, Mike. Michele had the place immaculate; the grounds, the bathhouse, and the office were clean as a whistle. The bathhouse also had a comfy bath mat to place your wet feet on as you got out of the shower. Who does that? They do. Also, swimming in the salt pool was refreshing. They recommended restaurants to eat nearby. If you're visiting Pickwick Landing State Park or Shiloh National Military Park, I recommend Green Acres RV, "It's the Place to be."😂

Great campground for a short or long stay! Sites are big enough to park our 40 ft class a and a truck and jeep, owners were friendly and helpful when needed but also don’t bug you the whole time. It’s clean and quiet, had full hookup and a perfect place to get away. This was our second time staying for a week each time and we will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying here March 22-23, 2026. Only one night, but it was more than comfortable. Michelle at the front office is an angel, very sweet, walked us through the rules and amenities. Restrooms are spotless (although I wish there was more than 2), park is relatively quiet and very clean. There does seem to be monthly renters who possibly live here, so be aware of this. They are living their life, coming and going, so it can be the tiniest bit noisy late at night with headlights and car doors slamming. When you leave the park, turn left and head down to the Outpost, a charming little strip of restaurants, coffee shops and a scenic area. Nice price for the RV park, overall we would stay here again.

We had a great stay at Green Acres Savanna. The spaces are giant, the park is super clean. The manager is a wonderful host! I would give it 9 stars if I could!! If your looking for a place to feel at home! Give Green Acres a call.

Green Acres is like a home away from home. Michelle, David, Mike and staff are OUTSTANDING hosts. I can't say enough of their exemplary customer service. Whether you're in need of long term stay options or just a long weekend, they have you covered. Green Acres will deliver a worry free top of class amenity driven experience. For those of you with small RV water heaters, like myself, the showers and bathrooms are always spotless and cleaner than any hotel. The WiFi is Awesome! Coin operated washers and dryers are available too. With many pet walking areas available on site and 5 minutes from Pickwick lake, this is a fantastic spot fellow RVers!!!
