There are no signs pointing to the campground, they have the gate blocked off to make it easier for campers to go in and out. The man at the gate is extremely rude and we weren't the only ones that felt that way. As an army veteran I love staying at the campgrounds that are owned and ran by the army corps of engineers however this was hands down the worst experience. The campground itself was very nice and the lake was beautiful. Can't speak on the bathhouse as I never used it. The people were friendly with the exception of the man looking after the place, even his wife was friendly. If they could put signs pointing the way to the campground and have someone else running it I would give it 5 starts. We will not be back until there is someone new there.

We love COE parks / camping. Lake front sites. Beautiful lake. Paved sites that are tiered to give you a better view.

This Campground is awesome. The bathroom and shower are very clean. The host was really nice and friendly. We actually extended our stay but moved to site 83. They have free laundry and awesome view of the lake. I will be visiting again.

COE camp sites are always great! We are very fortunate to have them. Salt Lick Creek could use showers. Also dog parks so pets could run would be a big benefit for all the COE parks

If I could leave 0 starts I would….I rented out the covered pavilion for my sons first birthday on Saturday. When arriving a whole group of people were already in the pavilion and all around it. My reservation was not posed in the box and the group stated they ask the attendent and she told them they could have it for the day. I told them I had paid money to rent it out and showed them proof and they refused to leave. I called the number for floating mail and spoke to someone and they confirmed I had it reserved and said someone would be down to ask the group to leave. Someone showed up 20 minutes later and posted the reservation sign and ask the group to leave. At this point it’s a whole hour past my party stating time and all the guest had arrived and was helping me set up. Then the attendant lady shows up harassing us about paying to park we said we would pay after we got everything set up she comes back 10 minutes later very rude and yelling. Causing several of my guest to get upset. I will NEVER be back to this park and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone based off this woman’s attitude. She made everyone stop what we were doing and walked us up to pay to park. She didn’t harass anyone else at the lake but us. When we were the only ones that actually paid to be there. She completely ruined my sons first birthday.

The person at the office was very nice and kind and did great job watching out for the campers. We had a great view of the water and access to the water. One of our favorite campgrounds there.
