Floating Mill Park is a beautiful campground with stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness of the restrooms and the lovely playground for children. However, some concerns include crowded campsites that lack privacy and inconsistent maintenance of the grounds, particularly the grass and landscaping.

The campground is very nice, but it’s built into a terraced hillside. Many of the sites require carrying your gear up or down stairs to get from the parking to the tent pad and picnic table. We were in site 35, which worked OK for us with our 20' camper van, but there was no buffer between our site and #34. Fortunately, we had good neighbors. The CG is clean and well maintained, and the hosts were excellent.

My family and I have been going to Floating Mill since 1995. We’ve always loved going here but I must say the grass is always too high. I was told they mow every 2 weeks which is ridiculous! I have seen them mowing once maybe twice in all those years. PLEASE MOW MORE OFTEN. Other COE campgrounds are not like this. The host this year was absolutely the nicest of all!

There was poison ivy in the tree on our campsite (10), there was also some on the tree by the bath house. We loved our stay & will be back. FYI, this is a tight spot, 30 Ft was too big for this spot because of getting in & out, there is a fence on the left side, also the hook ups were on the right side so you do not face the lake. There is a big hole across from the site they have a barrel in it but getting out without moving it is tough.

Poorly designed COE campground. Difficult to maneuver and confusing. We booked for three nights and they closed the park after our second night via email…which we don’t read when vacationing. We came back from town mid afternoon and were told we had to be out in 45 minutes. Not a park we will visit again.

Drove our 31 foot RV towing a car. Entry road to park, and interior road to site tight and windy, bu doable. Site itself is fantastic. Level and roomy, with a picture perfect view of the lake. Beautiful park to roam through. Definitely returning.
