What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

We were on site 09 and it was beautiful...right on the lake with privacy on one side of us The dogwoods were blooming and they were gorgeous. Camp hosts were very friendly. It was a great trip!

Gorgeous, amazing, peaceful, beautiful-- all the good things! I definitely want to revisit, but this time I'd love to reserve site 29. I thought it was the most scenic of all the sites. I decided to camp here because I had a kayaking trip the next day at Burgess Falls. I ended up loving my camping experience more than anything else I did over the weekend. My only hangup was that a previous guest at site 27 made a makeshift fire pit on the site. They also threw all their eggshells around the site and in the designated fire pit.

Incredibly clean and quiet. Showers/bathrooms were spotless. Even had washers available free grata. Park staff was friendly and very helpful. Nice beach and 2 boat launch ramps available. No Wi-Fi or regular TV available, however, Verizon Hotspot worked great. Electric Bikes are a must due to steep and long hills. Definitely will return.
