What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

The gentleman in the check in booth was friendly and out going, unlike some of the others we meet.
The whole campground was clean and inviting. We camp there 3 or 4 times a year. Love the the place and the lake.

Had a wonderful time campsite was well maintained grill and table excellent .The only thing I wish was the shoreline was cleaned of the small shrubs so the tent campers had a view and could access the water for fishing

Our trip to Ragland Bottom was very relaxing. We camped with two of our neighbors. The site (35) we had overlooked the water a little and was very enjoyable. The one thing lacking was no Wi-Fi,the phone service we have AT&T, was very good. Very well kept park and the people were wonderful that care for it.

Clean area, host staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to bring our boat and park it at the parking area next to the ramp.
Verizon Wireless we had 1 to 2 bars of signal.

This is a clean well maintained camping area, that we use multiple times every summer. There is plenty of boating, kayaks, and waterfalls around if you are a water lover. 25 minutes from Cookeville for shopping and eating, but there are several places in Smithville that have excellent food. For breakfast we love Patty's on the far end of Smithville and Kilgors for lunch or dinner. (catfish at Kilgors is great)Murfreesboro is 1 hr and 15 minutes away for shopping and eating, Fall Creek Falls state park and Rock Island state park just a short drive away for hiking....EXCELLENT PLACE.
