What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

First time at this site. It did not disappoint. We have stayed at several different sites at Ragland Bottom. As always the best hosts in Tom and his wife as well as the volunteer hosts. Highly recommend this campground.

Site #9 is right on the lake and at the end of the row, so no immediate neighbors, just lake. Pretty steep to get to the lake... rock embankments are hard to negotiate!

We always enjoy our stays at Ragland Bottom. Site 16 is a pull-through with tons of space with a beautiful view of the lake. You couldn’t ask for a better camp host than Tom or his wife.

Host was very courteous and helpful. Campsite and Campground and Bathrooms were very clean. Very pleasant atmosphere and quiet at night time. The trees and water were a great combo. Love the pull in campsites! No problem getting our 35 foot Innsbruck Travel Trailer in place and avoid a divorce proceeding! LOL

Campground was clean and well taken care of. The host there are AWESOME and we're all greatful to have them back another year. The lower tree limbs seem to have recently been cut back, as I remember last year they were quite low and scraping along the RV in tow. They put in a new floating doc on the campground side... thank you for that!

We enjoyed our time at Ragland Bottom Campground. Bathhouses were very clean which is always a great thing!
Be sure to visit the Appalachian Center for Craft to see the beautiful and quirky pieces.

Campground was ok. Only complaints was grass had not been cut in quite awhile. Weeds knee high. Also was here for MLF tournament and one of our group was charged 5.00 fee to watch weigh in at dayuse area? Never been charged at any event in past.
