What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

Campground was beautiful on the lake, bathrooms were clean. Took kayak out and enjoyed a morning of fishing. Was peaceful and neighbors respectful. This was our second time here and family loved it.

Very clean & Quiet. The Tent sites could have had more level area to put up the tent. There was plenty of shade. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. Great tent sites right on the water.

Beware this is a walk-in site on a very steep hill. I will be filing a complaint with Rev.gov because this information was not disclosed in the app. It is standard to provide the type of site and distance from parking for visitors to know what they are reserving. I drove two hours to then turnaround and go home because I didn't not want to hike back-n-forth to the parking lot all weekend. Such a disappointment.

Ragland Bottom is a wonderful place to camp. We have been boaters on Center Hill Lake for over 30 years. We have boated by Ragland Bottom and always wondered what it looked like up close. We camped there recently and loved it!! I highly recommend camping at Ragland Bottom

Overall a very nice site however road conditions and access were a little tricky. We had to clean our own fire pit due to shortage of resources.

My favorite get away! The host of the campground is always welcoming! Bathhouse and bathrooms are clean. Showers have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Laundry is free. Bathhouse ceiling could use some repair but that’s everything else is perfect!
