What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

My experiences at
Ragland Bottoms Campground was excellent. The Hosts are very nice. The only thing I saw that was needed was
charcoal grills for the prime camp sites.

We enjoyed the great water view from site 13. Site 15 looks like the best view of all. There were lots of easily accessible places to fish from the bank. The bath houses were very clean as were all the grounds in the campground. Enjoyed side trips to Rock Island State Park and the charming town of Smithville.

We’ve been many times but never stayed on the hill. The sites are very spacious and offer decent privacy. The park employees/hosts were VERY friendly and pleasure to converse with they are definitely an asset to this park.
