What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

Great campground with nice sized sites. Bath houses were super clean. Well manicured grass. Friendly camp host. Two good sized playgrounds for the kids. Two boat ramps, one with a loading dock. Nice quick trail to a beautiful overlook! Only thing I can say bad is our site and some other sites fire pit was in large rocks to the side of the site making it hard to sit around.

Great place to camp. The place is clean and well kept.
The camp host ,TOM, is nice, friendly and a pleasure to talk to.
The only down side is the TVA does a terrible job of water management. One day the water level is good ,the next they take water out of the lake, and the next day they take more water out, and so on. I was there for a week and they lowered the water level by 3 FEET.I had to have people help push my boat back into the water each day.

Enjoyed our stay. Camp host Tom was excellent. We visited Burgess Falls and Great Falls/ Rock Island. Visited a local winery as well. We plan to return.

The camp host Manager, “Tom” is awesome! Friendly an efficient! Family setting and the lake view is amazing. Also to mention that the ground keepers/maintenance does an outstanding job. Bathrooms are very clean. Thank you for a great vacation spot!
