What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

This is a beautiful campground. It is built into a hill so walking can be a bit difficult for some folks. The sites are nice and level. We had a full hookup site. The beach area is at the day use area. Everything was kept nice and clean. We had planned on going here several times before but could never get in or had reservations cancelled due to government shutdowns or floods. I am glad we wer finally able to get in.

We have stayed at Ragland Bottom many times and always love it. The campground and facilities are always well maintained and clean. We have always loved the hosts that were there for years but this past year it was new hosts and they were wonderful too, very helpful and friendly. We bring our fishing boat as we love to fish in the lake and I kayak and it is very easy for me to get in and out of the lake with my kayak, I am 67. We always meet friendly fellow campers at Ragland Bottom. We will be back.

Probably the best State Park camping I have ever been too. All of the sites are concrete pads with sewer and electric/water. Very nice views and the staff were very friendly.
We will be back.
