Clean area, host staff very friendly and helpful. We were able to bring our boat and park it at the parking area next to the ramp.
Verizon Wireless we had 1 to 2 bars of signal.

This is a clean well maintained camping area, that we use multiple times every summer. There is plenty of boating, kayaks, and waterfalls around if you are a water lover. 25 minutes from Cookeville for shopping and eating, but there are several places in Smithville that have excellent food. For breakfast we love Patty's on the far end of Smithville and Kilgors for lunch or dinner. (catfish at Kilgors is great)Murfreesboro is 1 hr and 15 minutes away for shopping and eating, Fall Creek Falls state park and Rock Island state park just a short drive away for hiking....EXCELLENT PLACE.

First time at this site. It did not disappoint. We have stayed at several different sites at Ragland Bottom. As always the best hosts in Tom and his wife as well as the volunteer hosts. Highly recommend this campground.

Site #9 is right on the lake and at the end of the row, so no immediate neighbors, just lake. Pretty steep to get to the lake... rock embankments are hard to negotiate!
