What Guests Are Saying
Ragland Bottom is highly praised for its friendly and helpful camp hosts, clean restrooms, and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite camping destination. Visitors enjoy beautiful views of Center Hill Lake and appreciate the spacious, level sites available. While some noted issues like steep walk-in site access and occasional disturbances from other campers, the overall experience remains positive and many express a desire to return.

Facility is good. There is a beach by the gate. The only inconvenience thing is you have to park at a public parking place, and then move your stuff to your campsite by hand.

So much driftwood we could barely get to the Easter, the tent sites are rocks and not comfortable at all. And they were about a raging flood in the rain ... we were miserable.

The overall stay was pretty decent . The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The swimming area is nice with the sand . The bathrooms were very clean and tidy . Nice and warm in the morning . The camp staff was nice and friendly .
However there were some cons . The trek up and down from the campsite was terrible . Definitely need to redo the stairs or make it more accessible. Also you go camping to enjoy the QUIET . Quiet hours were supposed to be from 10 pm to 6 am . On Saturday night however you can hear music blasting from down the lake at the nearest marina until midnight , it’s extremely annoying when you have children trying to get to sleep and you want to enjoy being outside . Should definitely have been disclosed before making the reservation. And game wardens were flashing bright lights in through our tents up until midnight as well , also very annoying .

Plenty of shade and great view of the lake. This site and the one past it or excellent for someone camping together as they are a bit close on that one side. As always nice clean campground with excellent camp host Tom.
