What Guests Are Saying
Indian Boundary Campground offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded campsites, and clean bathrooms, making it an ideal location for family-friendly activities like hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the helpful camp hosts, as well as the scenic lake and beach area. However, some concerns include limited bathroom facilities, occasional rudeness from park rangers, and the lack of cell service, which may impact convenience. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many campers who enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor experiences it provides.

I had to leave 3 days early. I went online to see how to cancel my remaining stay and found out that I should have cancelled through the campground host but we were already on our way home. I called the number on the web site. I was told that someone would contact me back to let me know if a refund was possible. I have yet to hear from anyone on whether or not a refund is possible. I guess I lost out on the $60 refund.

Nice campground, very relaxing. Beautiful hiking trail around the lake! Swimming beach looks nice although we did not use it.

Nice mountain side/valley campground in a deep deciduous forest. Dark and quiet at night. Sites spacious, I mean spacious. No water service, must fill tank near dump station going in, and the dump station is a half mile from the campground. There are slopes when backing in to some sites. No Verizon cell service, must drive about 5 miles up the Cherohala Skyway to the first overlook to pick up service, where it improves to 3 bars with LTE data. No TV, although in a previous trip we did pick up Knoxville DTV. We have camped here before and would again.

We enjoyed the campground nice sites, camp store, electric hook ups, water near site, Dump station, and lake with real nice trail. We also visited hiking trails on Cherohaia Skyway.

Verizon and AT&T cell service is very week or non stop existent. Drive east to the Turkey Creek overlook for cell phone service.

We were there for a week. Campground is very clean. Camp host was very friendly and helpful, as was the camp store. We had our own kayaks and enjoyed the lake.

Indian Boundary is a great campsite for families. We always have a great time when we visit here. The campgrounds are well kept as are the restroom and shower facilities. The mountains and lake are beautiful and so peaceful.
