What Guests Are Saying
Indian Boundary Campground offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded campsites, and clean bathrooms, making it an ideal location for family-friendly activities like hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the helpful camp hosts, as well as the scenic lake and beach area. However, some concerns include limited bathroom facilities, occasional rudeness from park rangers, and the lack of cell service, which may impact convenience. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many campers who enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor experiences it provides.

The best national forest campground I have seen. The site design is outstanding, all the host are polite and helpful. The bathroom were clean and grounds were very well kept.

I love this campground! It’s clean, the bathrooms were clean and well equipped. Our camp host was helpful and friendly. I loved the camp store. We were in site 14 on the A loop. There’s no cell service which is perfectly fine with me!

Sites need new gravel across the whole campground. What run off is a issue and there has not been proper crush and run in the sites for about two years. New trash cans are too hard to open for most. Booking set at three months sucks needs to go back to 6 months. Campground is great but someone is spending money on the wrong upgrades and operating it incorrectly. Bathrooms and camp host do a great job.

All areas are very well maintained. The Host was very helpful. Beautiful lake and the trail around it was wonderful.
The Cherohala Parkway has many
trails, favorites are Huckleberry Knob,Hooper's Bald. MUST see Bald River Falls .

We love Indian Boundary! No cell or internet is part of why we love it! Definitely a great place to “disconnect”!

One of highlights a autumn is annual trip to Cherohala Skyway. Indian Boundary is one of the best N.F. campgrounds we have visited. Lake is great for a relaxing paddle. Lake loop trail is great...not to mention fabulous hiking along skyway. A little disappointed that leaf blowers are not discouraged. And is concern about transporting firewood real or not? People arriving with huge amounts of firewood.

Nothing bad to say about Indian Boundary, I love that there's no phone service. Nice and laid back
