What Guests Are Saying
Indian Boundary Campground offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded campsites, and clean bathrooms, making it an ideal location for family-friendly activities like hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the helpful camp hosts, as well as the scenic lake and beach area. However, some concerns include limited bathroom facilities, occasional rudeness from park rangers, and the lack of cell service, which may impact convenience. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many campers who enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor experiences it provides.

The lake has very clean and pure water. The campsites and bathroom facilities are excellent. And the grounds are well-kept.

Beautiful and safe family park. Camping fee is reasonable. No cell phone service at this location. Bath houses very nice and clean. The Cherohala Skyway across the mountain is a must drive. In Tellico, eating at the TellaCaffee is a must. They have a very extensive menu and the food is very good. There is a large beautiful waterfalls not too far from the campground on the road that goes to the fish hatchery.

Annual autumn tradition. Best National Forest campground we have ever stayed at.

The bathroom next to C–62 could use some help..
Other than that the campground is on par with other state parks..

It’s a beautiful campground. The last couple of years the camp hosts in C section are not our favorite. They seem to be babysitting and have kids toys and play stuff all around the hosts campsite. Babysitting shouldn’t be allowed.

Very clean and we'll maintained. The only downfall to this place is that it needs to open a little earlier in the year and stay open later.

Love camping at Indian Boundry and have camped there for years. My only complaint is this year we were not able to use our hammock because there was no place to hang it within our camp site as with most sites there. We always used the trees just outside the site before. It is a shame that because some people break the rules the ones who don’t are the ones to pay the price. We will continue to camp there and hope that you reconsider this rule.
