What Guests Are Saying
Indian Boundary Campground offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded campsites, and clean bathrooms, making it an ideal location for family-friendly activities like hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the helpful camp hosts, as well as the scenic lake and beach area. However, some concerns include limited bathroom facilities, occasional rudeness from park rangers, and the lack of cell service, which may impact convenience. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many campers who enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor experiences it provides.

Great campground! It was fairly full but still quiet at night. The hosts were welcoming, bathroom was clean, and the store had all the essentials plus some fun items. Will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful camp site. All the guests we came in contact with were very nice. We took the grandkids and they loved riding bikes, the beach and hiking . We loved being with the grandkids. Oh, and fishing .

Always a great place to camp, but especially in October. Beautiful fall foliage. A good place to just “be”. Thanks.

The lake and beach area made for a nice walk, but overall, there just wasn’t enough to make me want to come back. Hammocks aren’t allowed, and the constant car and bike traffic in front of the campsites made it stressful to move around—especially with small children. Walking to a neighboring site meant having to look both ways every time, and at night, several cyclists sped by without lights, which made things even more nerve-wracking.
The site pads themselves were very tough, which made staking the tents difficult. It seems to be a better fit for campers or RVs than for tent camping.
The bathrooms were decent—not terrible, but not great either—and the camp host came across as a bit of a power trip. There’s a small store on-site with just about everything you might need, but it gives the place a more commercial feel rather than that sense of escaping into nature.
Overall, it’s not a bad spot for the area, but I personally don’t see what all the hype is about and probably wouldn’t return.

This is one of our favorite places to camp! We love the Cherokee National Forest, Tellico Plains, the Cherohala Skyway and Indian Boundary!

We love Indian Boundary - just wish we had discovered it years sooner than we did. We have camped there 5 times since May. New natural wonders to enjoy each season.
