2nd trip here. Love the staff and the surroundings. Hard to beat for hiking and motorcycling less than a day's drive from New Orleans. I plan on making this an annual thing.

Has been our favorite place for over 15 years. But Society has degraded way too much. There are to many people that don’t respect other campers. They bring dogs that bark way to much, throw trash in fire pits, play music to loud., they move the extremely heavy pick neck tables over where camper trailers are designated to park to put up their tents and are so inconsiderate as to not move them back leaving them for older people to have to move them so they can back their campers in place. Such a shame. Once was so nice and peaceful. We love watching the you children playing and laughing. But wish their parents would teach them how to respect older people that walk and ride bikes. They don’t teach them the loops are one way drives. I guess would consider me a grumpy old man, but I remember how it used to to be.. my own grandkids that we raised there did not always behave the way we instructed them to.

I arrived extremely late and the gate was locked. However, there is an overflow area I was able to stay in. No electricity but a beautiful and quiet site that I was very grateful for considering my exceptionally late arrival.

The camp hosts were very friendly. The store had about anything you could think of. It was a very relaxing and peaceful place to camp.

This is a good site, but facing the lake brought some extra winds. In the summer, that could be a welcome relief. This is a wonderful campground and area. Love the lack of internet and phone service. Also the quiet waters without motor boats. Nice trails and forests. Beautiful sunsets over t1he lake. A place to relax, slow down and renew.

Our visit was great, especially appreciate the camp store people and goods available. Closing the restroom from 8-9 am is inconvenient for folks without toilet facilities on-board their RV.

From I-75 at Sweetwater, Tennessee, take State Route 68 to Tellico Plains.
From Highway 68 in Tellico Plains, take Highway 165 (Cherohala Skyway) east for 16 miles. Turn left onto Forest Development Road 345 and travel 2 miles to the entrance.
Indian Boundary Campground is accessible via I-75, taking State Route 68 to Tellico Plains, and then Highway 165 (Cherohala Skyway) east.
