Wonderful Campground. We thought we would meet the Camp Host and get a Map of the Amenities however no one ever showed up to greet us.

Indian Boundary Campground offers a beautiful, tranquil setting with well-maintained facilities, spacious and shaded campsites, and clean bathrooms, making it an ideal location for family-friendly activities like hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the helpful camp hosts, as well as the scenic lake and beach area. However, some concerns include limited bathroom facilities, occasional rudeness from park rangers, and the lack of cell service, which may impact convenience. Overall, it's a cherished spot for many campers who enjoy the natural beauty and outdoor experiences it provides.

A site that we would have preferred was available for the entire visit but apparently someone had reserved it so we could not book it…this happens all the time! Frustrating to say the least.

We love coming here. All the sites are shaded and safe for our son to ride his bike around the park. There are trails, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding and ice cream! What more do you need??

Great campground for our group of 10. Sites are large and shady. The location on the Cherohala Skyway was great. We did some gravel cycling and hiking in the area. The lake was a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. With no motors on the lake, it's the perfect place for peaceful water activities. Campground was unsurprisingly crowded over Labor Day but folks were friendly and respectful.

Beautiful place.
Campground host & park ranger made me move my tent within their imaginary line. I have a one-person backpacking tent that is not free standing and does not work well on dry gravel. I have an extremely minimal setup and leave no trace. Meanwhile I was surrounded by houses on wheels, christmas lights, loud music, hammocks, literal televisions, air mattresses, dog runs, etc. Completely ridiculous. Get off your high-horse. Heaven forbid I sleep on the dirt. Really unpleasant experience, my first ever with a national forest / park.
Otherwise the place is beautiful and a great location for biking, fishing, hiking. There is no cell service so plan accordingly.
