It was a beautiful but busy October weekend for our camping trip. We were able to navigate the traffic. It took two hours to drive the loop road, but worth it. We saw a Momma Bear and her cub and another black bear in the drive

The absolute best thing in planning and going on this trip was the staff at the ranger station. They were helpful, professional, and fun! Outstanding staff. The ladies were terrific.

Worst part was navigating recreation gov website and lack of a working map at that site. I suggest some improvements for your site. Not sure you are worth what GSMNP pays you to take reservations.

Nice campground. Bathhouse was clean and had enough stalls and running water. The trash cans are convenient and we didn't find it loud or smelly. Tent pad at site easily fit two small tents.
