What Guests Are Saying
Look Rock Campground offers a peaceful and clean camping experience with well-maintained facilities and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the availability of electric and water hookups at select sites, as well as the quiet atmosphere and opportunities for wildlife sightings, including bears. However, some amenities, like showers and reliable cell service, are lacking, and noise from nearby traffic can be a concern for some campers. Overall, it is a lovely spot for those seeking a tranquil getaway in nature.

We only stayed 1 night, and didn't arrive until almost dark, so we did not get a good look at the campground. It was dark and quiet at night. The whole campground is small, and built into hilly terrain, and therefore, the sites are kind of small and close together. Overall we liked it, but would not want to spend an extended stay there.

Really nice campground that's on the Foothills Parkway. Just minutes from sweeping overlooks of the Smokies and the Tennessee River Valley.

If you like to camp in the center of the NASCAR circle, this place is for you! Arriving early from the Happy Valley roads was beautiful, peaceful, isolated. A feel of being one with nature and tranquility. Within minutes of settling in, continuous roars of the adjacent Foothills Pkwy is deafening and extremely disappointing as it overwhelms the entire campground valley. Extreme echoing of motocross/ muscle car parades will drown out all conversations until dusk. Once that drama slows, the park offers several novice areas to hike for the feel that we all head to the park for. Sites were clean, organized, safe, but lack privacy.

Our family really likes this campground, it’s close to where we live. We enjoy walking around the campground and picnic areas. Look Rock tower is a short hike away, be prepared, there are hills! I do wish they had more sites with electricity and they could have made the campsites a little more level. If you’re staying in a tent there are no showers in the restrooms.

This was the coolest campground I ever been. It was very short time just for a few hours, the roads to get there were awesome even pulling a 30FT travel trailer but the view and nature worth the whole trip.
I will be back with my family for sure
