What Guests Are Saying
Look Rock Campground offers a peaceful and clean camping experience with well-maintained facilities and friendly hosts. Many visitors appreciate the availability of electric and water hookups at select sites, as well as the quiet atmosphere and opportunities for wildlife sightings, including bears. However, some amenities, like showers and reliable cell service, are lacking, and noise from nearby traffic can be a concern for some campers. Overall, it is a lovely spot for those seeking a tranquil getaway in nature.

Nice quiet campground, but it is far off the beaten path. That worked for me.

Was a very cold and rainy stay and very low visibility. I was not told I’d be sharing electric hookups with another site, but that was ok. Just didn’t get to see or do much because of the weather and time crunch.

Great place to really get away from it all. Overall a very quiet camping experience. Cell/wifi is very limited, so be prepared.

I really enjoyed this campground. I am an amateur radio operator, and I wanted a site positioned on a hill or ridge. Camp sites 1 - 15 ascend the ridge, and the after that the sites descend slowly into a deep valley. I stayed in site 13 and I enjoyed it.
The only negative criticism I can offer: the incessant noise of motorcycles climbing the foothills parkway. But I also recognize that parks are for people, not only me.

Very nice campground, except the guy who ran his generator all day and night and then it appeared that the ranger gave some kind of warning and he shut it off promptly at 8pm and restarted it at 8am.

Beautiful well maintained campground. The only negative is hearing the traffic on the Foothills Parkway.

Campsites are below the Foothills Pkwy. From mid morning until late evening it sounds like you’re staying next to a race track.

The campsite was beautiful, and the drive getting there made it even better. Bathrooms were clean and lit up at night, dumpsters were in the ideal spots so you didn’t have to go out of your way, and the other campers were friendly. Overall it felt super comfortable being there. The short walk up to the Look Rock tower is a must do, those views were unreal.

The only complaint I have is that the restrooms are not that convenient.
The facility was wonderful! Loved the switchback road up there!

Lovely site in a very quiet campground. There is a slight slope to the tent pad. Will definitely return.
