It was very peaceful and serene! Every staff member that I came in contact with was super friendly. A nice place to camp with family or friends. There are plenty of fishing locations and a beach area. We had an amazing time and didn't want to leave this morning. We will definitely be going back!
Ps. The restrooms are clean, and they have showers. Each camping location comes with a power port (looks like 2-110v plugs and 2-220v plugs, I think lol), and a pavilion.

I love camping, fishing & kayaking at this location.
My husband & I use to bring our kids here when they were little & we’d go camping & fishing with some of our other friends & family at this location & we never had a problem, we always had a good time, filled with so many great memories .
This location is beautiful & it’s well kept, clean bathrooms & shower areas & both are handicapped accessible.
We love being in nature surrounded by wildlife animals;it’s so relaxing & there’s a great area that is perfect for canoeing & kayaking. As far as camping areas, they are pretty nice- if you get a camping sight off of the water front it cost more;but it’s well worth it. Also at the camping sight there is a small grill and a cover picnic table with benches ,electric & water, there’s also a place on the water spigot where you can hook a water hose to it, I just happened to be paying attention to it, as we were reloading our kayaks to go home. Usually we stop by a car wash to spray our kayaks down to get leaves, mud, dirt & other debris off after kayaking; I thought to myself heck we need to start bringing a water hose along with us with a spray head & we can spray our kayaks & vehicle down while we’re still here/it will eliminate the need to go by the Carwash on our way home.

They also have a little store where you can buy ice and food items, wood for your camp fire, bait for fishing and other items you may need

Such a nice place to camp! Well maintained park with large campsites each with covered pavilions and fire rings. Hot showers and lots to do. My son enjoyed the playground and would have very much liked the swim area if it weren't unavailable due to flooding. It's still an awesome place, though! Camp store up front, two dump stations, and multiple restrooms. Would love to camp here again!

Great spot during the week when there are fewer people around. You have to book your RV spot in advance because weekends are hard to come by. Feels like you’re away from the city in peace when there. I don’t like alot of people jammed pack around me when camping. Although, comparatively there’s a good amount of space between each site with lots of trees. Usually, it’s just me and a couple of visitors and the dog. I’m able to work remotely in peace and take a bike ride on a lunch break with beautiful scenery. The full hookup sites are hard to get for extended days. I downsized from a 36 ft rig with 50 amps to a small C with 30 amps and there are plenty of sites to accommodate me now. The 30amp sites do not have sewer hookup but there are a couple of dump stations on the way out. I’m local and keep my coach in storage nearby. So when I’m coming home from a long trip and need to dump, they allow you to enter and dump for $5 bucks. That’s awesome. Great people who run the park and they are cutting the grass and cleaning consistently each morning. I absolutely recommend this lake. Beware of Coyotes. They’re not interested in you but proceed with caution. They like an early morning stroll back to the woods to sleep during the day. This is when I’ve spotted them the most. You can hear them howling at night. Never leave your pet tied up outside after dark. My old pup hates being inside so I keep her on a 30 foot leash and watch her while I’m working during the day. I left her collar attached to her rope tie out one night and the next morning it was chewed off and no where in sight. The rope was wet where it was chewed. This is also a Great Lake to kayak in. I’ve had many wonderful kayak tours around the park. Lots of birds of all sorts, including heron and ducks to enjoy along the way.
