Lots of unremovable rocks. Space was a bit small for our queen size tent. Great view. Great location for night sky photos. The location sits above other campsites. The five foot climb up to the location was a bit annoying. Shame I don't see an opportunity to include photos.

Stayed in the basin. Restrooms are disgusting. Volunteer hosts are delicate.

Nice campsite, steps away from good hikes. This is especially important when the sun becomes dangerous.

Beautiful campground, and temps were much cooler than at Rio Grande village. Sites are not necessarily level, so bring some levelers.

Really loved the views at night where you can see so many constellations, the mountains surrounding us, restrooms were clean and everyone felt safe and respected in the area. Location-wise it was the closest to hiking trails.
