Ppl at the camp store were very helpful. The campground is beautiful. The night sky was the most incredible I have ever witnessed.

It was during a New Moon and we had clear skies! Gorgeous! Stars from horizon to horizon with the Milky Way clearly visible. The park is always clean. Great experience!

Just glad the Basin was open after the proposed 2 year construction project was over budget. Any new proposal should consider visitor access through construction. Missing the Chisos Basin will mean I will not visit the park and many who only visit if it is closed will have missed what makes it such a special park.

I had a great time at Big Bend. The campground was well maintained and the camp hosts were friendly and helpful. The weather for May was warm but doable. I wish the restaurant at The Chicos basin had been open, there was a small food truck with a limited menu. Hopefully the restaurant will reopen soon. Big Bend national park is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed.

Great campsite, super near the window trailhead, great view, slightly isolated, but very small, we fit two small tents easily but two big ones wouldn't fit. Bathroom was right across the road, so a little light from there but also super convenient. Loved this campground and site.
