Roaming Trails RV Retreat

I NEVER write reviews! I feel people give bad reviews because they didn't get their way instead of how something truly is. With that said- I stayed a 5 weeks at this location in a 45' Prevost bus. The resort is fantastic. The staff was excellent and very transparent with any upcoming temporary outages with construction. They are very welcoming and accommodating. Their pricing aligns with the quality and professionalism you receive. They have a great location and the spaces are level and easily fit my bus with parking room in front of it. You could fit 2 vehicles side by side. I stayed in a pull through site. I would highly recommend them and will stay there again when I'm in the area!

I came to check out Roaming Trails RV because I'm thinking about moving from Colorado & buying an RV or Tiny Home to live in full-time. They're currently still finishing up construction as this is a new community but so far it looks absolutely amazing 😍, just what I'm looking for.

The property is near this beautiful horse 🐎 🐴 ranch, just imagine living & waking up to this every day.

They are within in a good distance for any shopping, restaurants or fun activities & it's a suburb of Fort Worth

Lana was very helpful with information & giving us a tour of the tiny home they had onsite.

They also have 2 more locations in Killeen & San Antonio which are coming soon.

We have a 40' DP and choose this site based on the close proximity to the places we wanted to visit and stayed for 2 nights. I knew they were still under construction on this new facility and had zero issues with that.  So, with that in mind, this review is only for what was available at the site location, which is getting into it, the pad, hookup services, etc. Check in was very good, very pleasant representation and helpful. Currently a bit tight getting to the front gate off the main road and would recommend them putting up signage to the second gate for larger rigs. Site had wide open roads for larger RVs to navigate, the pads have two areas, one for the RV and one for automobiles (slopped) and the pad I choose was pretty level for the RV, 1/4 bubble off. On the pad, I parked at the edge of the driver's side which gave me about 4 feet of concrete on the camp side. Hookups were very close, and the 50A Electric was good at 120v on both legs, water pressure was good and sewer hookup was good. Overall, the site was dark and quite at night, which I prefer and quite during the day with only construction of the clubhouse at the entrance. I would definitely stay here again and most likely will, and the price was right.

I'm two weeks in to a month stay at Roaming Trails RV Retreat as a Full Time RVer. This is a new park, so not all of the amenities are available as they haven't finished building out the park. However, I've now stayed in two sites that were both perfectly level L/R, which is what's important. I also have two dogs and my only complaint would be the spotty grass, which will I'm sure continue to grow in the spring. Lana is the primary office contact and she is WONDERFUL!

We drove to this park to check it out as we are full time rvers. This park sites are not level and you'd be lucky to fit a 45' rv in it. We definitely more so for tiny homes and smaller rvs. The sites are very close together and narrow pads.
