Silver Spur Resort

We have been renting a cabin here for several years 2 times per year and have always had a perfect stay. We love the grounds and amenities and we can stay close by our friends who have RV's. This time we had a late check in and there was an issue, but we want to commend Taylor on her quick response to handle our situation. She is amazing!

Stayed at the new Silver Spur Campground Resort in Canton Texas last night. They are brand new to Campspot as they are a former koa. Campground was massive! 20 cabins, wagons,, tiny homes, etc. bathrooms where very clean. If using the bathhouse showers, take an extra towel for the floor. We ate at the onsite brewery… I recommend the peach beer. We also got the mix plate meal. For two of us, it was expensive $160. That was two dinners, one coke, 2 banana pudding desserts, and one beer and one fight. I would stay again but would not get the meal plate. It was decent but not worth the cost.

Really clean park.
the power pedistal on the pull through site Was a bit too far forward for a camper with the ac cord in the rear of the camper.
The WIFI was not that great.
HOWEVER ! ! GREAT PARK, EASY ACCESS/ EGRESS.. AMINETIES REALLY NICE. CLOSE TO TRADES DAY GROUNDS. VERY REASONABLE RATES

This is a nice place but should be better. Be careful pulling into the camp area. They did not finish the asphalt and there is a large washout and drop off. The dog park was overgrown and needs attention. Also people are living in the rear area of this park and there is a large mean pit bull dog on a chain. He wanted to kill our small dogs. Stay up front near pond and keep your things locked up!

Great location to first Monday. Nice big spots for RV’s…. But it hasn’t been taken care of. Grass hadn’t been mowed in awhile, stickers in dog park, and the gravel road was full of pot holes. Makes pulling a trailer down the lanes very difficult. Needs some maintenance
