What Guests Are Saying

Cranes Mill Park is a well-maintained campground with spacious RV sites, clean restrooms, and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a quiet getaway. Campers appreciate the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings, including wildlife sightings. However, some visitors experienced challenges with finding the park, low lake levels, and noise from nearby campers, which slightly affected their overall experience.

The spot we were in was perfect. There's plenty of room for all sorts of games, i.e. horseshoe, bean bag toss board, badminton, etc. There's plenty of space to take a walk and just enjoy the view.

The view of the lake and sunrise in the morning started out our day with excitement. We only wished that we could have had more time staying there, but this will definitely be our spot to come back to very soon. We miss it every time we think of our time there.

A very beautiful place with the best sunsets, sunrises, and star filled skies! The area is well maintained, clean, and sites are large. The staff is really great! They helped us work through a tow vehicle breakdown issue that reduced our stress tremendously.

The grass needed cutting!! I think the Rv sites should be for rv’s only not tent sites!! We try to make a reservation & can’t get in because people took up the RV sites with tents. It’s a great park when ever we can get in!!!

Grass was too tall. Dump station needs to be modified by lowering the drain so you don't have to pick up the hoses to dump.

Very nice park but hard to get in on weekends. Hopefully they will just let RV’s in the RV spots & not tents! The tents take away from the RV spots!!! They have closed the tent section because they said it gets too cold!! We are in South Texas it doesn’t get cold!!!

Very nice, new camp sites. Covered picnic tables were almost new. Great place to stay as a base camp for other activities. Unfortunately, not much to do at the campground since the boat ramp is closed.

Really nice RV sites on a lake. The sites were of usual (very good) COE quality. Electric and water services were easy to connect to. The other loop (day use or tents, wasn’t clear) and unkempt, which was in contrast to good maintenance on the RV loop.
