This is my 3rd year at Cranes Mill in January.. the facilities are very nice, views from campground of the lake are excellent, and bike rides on the park roads are fun with nice views.

Cranes Mill Park is a well-maintained campground with spacious RV sites, clean restrooms, and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a quiet getaway. Campers appreciate the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings, including wildlife sightings. However, some visitors experienced challenges with finding the park, low lake levels, and noise from nearby campers, which slightly affected their overall experience.

nice COE park. most of the sites are fairly level but some on the lake side are a little more on a slope. That is usually not a problem for smaller units. The sites were pretty long and extra wide in front for parking. Electric and water are good, but of course no sewer hookup. it is easy to get to dump station if you need to dump and return to site.
Nice roads to walk or ride bikes, the tent area and north part of park were closed after boat ramp, but many people from campground still walked and rode bikes there.
visible and At&t both worked good. TV was a little weak sometimes with our winegard 360 roof dome.
A lot of deer in park and on entrance road. very tame, but be careful when driving. If you are out and return after 9pm you will have to walk into camp, about 1/4 mi walk.

Beautiful park...very friendly staff and super reasonable rates with my senior pass and FULL hook-ups. We had 3 nights at site #22 right by the bathhouse. Had a fabulous view of the lake mainly because no one was parked blocking our view. The camp was only at half capacity because our stay was in January 2022. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Love this campground. Plenty of room for big rigs with the extra parking spot next to the campsite. Some sites will not have lake view from your door side of your RV so check that before reserving. Easy to get around and helpful hosts. Saw deer. We'll be back.

It would be a great park, but half of it was closed. We went here to fish and camp. By closing half the park limited us on places to fish.
Hiking trails were not maintained. Walked down a trail, could see rock boarders, but wasn’t cut or maintained.
